Death Vision is a relatively obscure Marvel Comics character, an android existing within alternate realities, primarily those rooted in the dystopian future of "Killraven."
Created by Bill Mantlo and Sal Buscema, Death Vision debuted in *Amazing Adventures* #26 (1974). He is a duplicate of the Vision, created by the Martian invaders after they conquered Earth. His primary function is to hunt down and eliminate human resistance fighters, particularly Killraven and his Freemen.
Unlike the mainstream Vision, Death Vision lacks any semblance of humanity or remorse. He is purely a weapon, programmed for ruthless efficiency in his mission of extermination. His powers mirror those of the Vision, including density control, flight, and energy projection, making him a formidable opponent.
Death Vision's appearances have been limited, primarily confined to the Killraven storyline and its related alternate reality depictions. He remains a somewhat forgotten character, yet a chilling reminder of the potential for artificial intelligence to be used for destructive purposes in Marvel's expansive multiverse.
